Chicago Police Officer Killed, Top Cop Resigns

Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown resigned his post Wednesday, less than a day after incumbent Mayor Lori Lightfoot lost her bid for reelection. The news also comes on the same day the city learned that a Chicago police officer was shot and killed in the line of duty.
