Children at Play

You’ve probably seen those signs as you have driven through neighborhoods in your own home town. Warnings that there are children present in the area so be on the lookout for them in case one mindlessly chases a ball or animal into the street. Children love to play. I wish I could calculate the number of times in raising my 5 kids that I’ve heard the phrase “will you play with me.” Sometimes the question was posed to me and sometimes to one of the other people in the house. Psychologists will tell you that children’s play is extremely important to their physical, mental, and emotional development.
