Claims local ESB network is not fit for purpose

There are further claims that the ESB network in the North West is not fit for purpose. It comes as a meeting between local representatives and Semi-State Organisations and Utility Providers over the aftermath of Storm Eowyn is underway in Sligo today. It’s thought that there has been a major lack of investment in the network across the region, while there’s also concern surrounding unexplained outages and the length of time it takes for power to be restored.
