Clearing What Drains Us
from Peaceful Journey: 7-Minute Meditations and Musings · host Deb Phelps
In Week 2 of the PEACEFUL Path January theme, we begin gently exploring what drains our energy. This talk builds on the foundation of awareness we established in Week 1 and invites a deeper look at how draining energy shows up in the body, the mind, and our daily patterns. Rather than forcing release or making changes happen, we focus on noticing with kindness and allowing awareness to create space naturally.Over the last few days, I noticed my nervous system felt more dysregulated than usual — tension in my shoulders and neck, slight headaches, and thoughts looping in circles. What I realized was that something I was working on was quietly draining my energy, even though it felt familiar at first. What helped wasn’t pushing through, but slowing down, resting deeply, meditating, and listening inward — and from that place, it became clear what needed softening and what needed to be released. That’s the heart of this week’s theme: not forcing anything to let go, but gently noticing what drains us so the body and nervous system feel safe enough to loosen on their own.Clearing what drains us is not about fixing ourselves. It is about recognizing where energy leaks quietly and learning to meet those places with honesty, care, and patience. This talk offers guidance for approaching release in a way that feels supportive, grounded, and sustainable, honoring both the nervous system and your natural timing. For more meditations and teachings on this month’s CEnergy theme, visit peacefulwellness.studio and join The PEACEFUL Path. You’re also warmly invited to our free Skool community at peacefulwellnessgroup.com , where women gather to reflect, connect, and support one another during times of transition.
