Today Hina is joined about Samit Patel they talk all about clubhouse as well as business and mind-set. Samit helps launch products to market, he works with anything that is a ‘physical product’. But Samit believes in a marketing first strategy, that you should market yourself and the business first, then when you start your actual business you will be in a better position and you know what people want. The best thing you can do is build a community around your product. Samit is all about pushing himself into difficult situations, which is why when he was asked to speak on stage for the first time he grabbed the opportunity. Helping others is something Samit is passionate about, he says nothing else feels like making an impact on someone else’s life. Clubhouse is an audio app, you can speak or listen. It’s a bit like a podcasting space where there are audio rooms that are live. Samit joined clubhouse in December and by helping out on big rooms, offering valuable advice, creating great rooms and collaborating he has gained more than 22k followers! Trolling and bullying is one of the downsides to Clubhouse. When you have big rooms and attention you are going to get these things happening. Clubhouse is so different to platforms such as Instagram. It doesn’t matter what you look like, it’s all about your voice and the value you bring. It is starting to be difficult to cater to two very different audiences on clubhouse, people who have been there a while and new members.
