CNC Router Glass Engraving

One of the most unusual things you can do on a CNC router is engraving. Most CNC'ers don't realize they can engrave. Glass, soft metals, acrylic, and other materials. Not hard metals. though. My favorite is glass engraving. The type of tool you use to engrave is called a drag bit. Because it drags. The router motor or spindle is not turned on but the CNC part still does its job, moving around the project as you programmed.
