Co-Missional Church Part 9

In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus is establishing a group with authority and ability to carry out a task, and in the process of doing that they will be acting as His agent. They will be working in cooperation with Him and using His resources. This is the church of Jesus Christ.   We have spent 8 sessions on a journey learning about what Tory calls the Co-Missional church. What is the Church? What is the purpose and function of the church? How does the church operate? And what habitat is necessary for it to grow? Today, Tory Bjorklund, president of TRC Ministries, wraps up Co-Missional Church by giving a review and then starting a little brainstorming into practical action points that might help the church grow in love and unity, fostering the type of community necessary to achieve intentional obedience to the teachings of Christ. And this obedience is the desired outcome for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
