John carries out a live coaching session helping Alex to understand how she has built up her own relational patterns, relationship beliefs and attraction style. She is going to be discussing relationships in her own life to try and create a different outcome by implementing change.   KEY TAKEAWAYS First of all John asks Alex about her previous relationships and the kind of people she usually draws towards herself. Drawing on Alex’s recently ended relationship experience triggered by a period of personal growth, John defines the common occurrence of transformation of self development and the incompatibility it can produce.   Parental relationships are discussed to show how Alex’s attitude to partnerships were formed. As the session continues John offers insights into Alex’s relational patterns, explaining repeated habits and the connections to her experiences. In conclusion John explains how Alex can change her habits to perhaps begin to build stronger, different relationships within her life by opening her mind to circumstances she would normally have avoided.   BEST MOMENTS ‘8 years together. We were engaged for the last year of that too. That for me looking back, I can see why we’re not together and I’m happy that we are not together. But looking back on that I can still see that there were positive aspects of it.’ – Alex  ‘That’s quite common in relationships isn’t it? When you get together with somebody as you try and change yourself throughout that journey, they’re quite comfortable with the person you were when you got together. They prefer you to stay in that space.’ – John ‘I’ve never felt a deep and loving connection to either of them. I think really in hindsight there were a lot of mental health problems there between the two of them. A lot of sadness.’ – Alex ‘That maybe explains the relationship that you did have through someone that was very dominant and you were dependent on to function and they ran that relationship. You didn’t have your voice, you followed what they wanted. You can understand why that came to an end when you decided to change that dynamic.’ - John  ‘Every time I feel someone that I’ve connected with move away from me it’s like a wound that rips a little deeper each time.’ – Alex ‘Am I going to thank myself for these decisions that I’m making now? I know the answers “no” when it comes to this particular person.’ – Alex ‘You have this dreamy idea about what a relationship could be like and actually relationships can be that dreamy, but I don’t think you really buy into that scenario completely.’ - John   VALUABLE RESOURCES If you want to order a copy of my book The P.E.O.P.L.E. Brother Blaq1-" The Relationship Guy" Rob Gregg My podcast is about relationships and family. My goal is to help people make the right choice in mate selection. The only way we can grow as people is to look at our own lives and confront the truth. The saying is true, " the truth can set you free!! When we are totally free from the past, then and only then can we attract the right "purpose mate". Together with Nikhil Chinapa Nikhil Chinapa Together is a way of celebrating the relationship between you guys, the community that makes this show so special, and us, the team that puts the show together. Together, we/'re going to do amazing things. The FootPol Podcast Francesco Belcastro and Guy Burton The podcast that brings together football and politics. We'll be exploring the relationship between the two, both inside and outside the game. The podcast covers "Big Politics" like politicians, clubs, international and national federations and other organised groups and how they use or abuse the game to "Small, Everyday Politics" in the form of community-level clubs, fan associations and the way that football reflects the political challenges of our day to day lives. The FootPol Podcast is brought to you by co-hosts Drs Francesco Belcastro and Guy Burton. The Billy Madison Show Cristine Billy holds a Master’s Degree in Business from American International University and attended Mankato State in Minnesota, but don’t hold that against him. He is a collector of Star Wars memorabilia, autographs (seriously), and a self-admitted ”dork” (but in a cool way of course). Derek is Billy’s ”right hand man” and offers his opinion on many topics but he will honestly admit he’s ”not a political expert or expert on a lot of things” and ”never went to college” but neither did Bill Gates (ok Gates went, but dropped out) but so what? ”Nard” (also known as Nathan) is a former listener of the show that was given a job after Billy helped him find a girlfriend. The relationship with the girl didn’t last but Billy and the guys liked Nard’s ”wit” and offered him a chance to be on the show one day and he never left. Nard has won over 50 Gold Medals in The Special Olympics and supports causes that help place special needs individuals in appropriate jobs and careers, just as he has done.
