Coercive control: Dawn Walker’s family

Dawn Walker met Thomas Nutt over Facebook in 2018. Described by her family as ‘free-willed and strong’, Dawn was drawn to the initially charming Nutt. Very quickly though, he became controlling and jealous, even going so far as to physically attack Dawn’s daughter when she confronted him about his behaviour. However, the worst was yet to come.
