For this episode, I am joined by Justin Smith, a firefighter based just outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Justin explains the entire process, from joining Fire School, being hired and what a day in the life looks like for him.We dive into his journey that led to him becoming a FireFighter. After retiring from hockey he decided to take a job with Pepsi. Feeling unfulfilled, Justin gave up his stable employment in pursuit of his passion. He shares an ingenious technique he used in order to find his PURPOSE which led him directly to FireFighting ( his PASSION). Smitty is a great example of not needing to know the exact details of your path, but to have trust in your progress. He identified his core values and decided to reverse engineer the process of finding the career that would bring fulfillment to his days.
