Cohort 9 Student Spotlight: Meet Sophie Wang

Sophie Wang joined the USF MSDS program after obtaining her B.S. in Business with a concentration in finance and accounting at Emory University and working as a senior consultant at Deloitte. Listen in to learn more about her background and her thoughts on the University of San Francisco’s MSDS program. In this episode, Sophie discusses her discovery of data science while working at a multinational firm, the intermingling of hands on experience and theoretical knowledge in the program, and her excitement to apply machine learning techniques to provide personalized exercise programs for a commonly overlooked population.
