In 1984 an 18-year-old former high school sports star is sitting in his car talking to an 18-year-old female when a maniac steps up to his car with a rifle. Terry Arndt tries to protect the girl he is with and attempts to shield her from the gunman, and dies protecting his friend. The killer then sexually assaults the girl and leaves her for dead. The monster leaves and the young woman drives Terry's car to try and get him help. The killer steals the life of one and changes the life of another and walks away, never to be seen again. Joseph Scott Morgan and Dave Mack discuss the case that was so cold over 30 detectives tried to solve the mystery, that was finally cracked this year.
