In this study we see the Apostle Paul praying for the Colossian church. What a great prayer. A prayer that runs counter to so much of what is falsely taught today concerning prayer.

He prays that they would have knowledge, wisdom and understanding. With this spiritual intelligence, he then prays that they would live in obedience to all they know concerning God's word. And then he prays that in light of their knowing God's word and living in obedience to God's word, that they would live a life in the power of God. A power that would enable them to have patience and longsuffering with great joy.

May this prayer be answered in all of our lives.
