We now move into chapter three. The preeminence of Christ has been firmly established. Doctrine has been established. Now Paul presents to us commands we are to obey in light of the preeminence of Christ. What good is all that Paul taught us if it is not demonstrated in the way we live for Jesus.

We have died with Christ. We have been raised with Christ. We are now alive in Christ. In order for us to live for Christ we must live in obedience to His word.
