Comment se porte l’agriculture bio en Normandie ?

En 2023, environ 10% des terres agricoles normandes étaient cultivées selon les principes de l'agriculture bio. Elle représente déjà plus de 15% des fermes françaises et est considérée, par un certain nombre d’acteurs institutionnels et de chercheurs, comme étant le seul modèle ayant fait ses preuves pour la protection de l’eau potable, de la santé des sols et de la santé publique. Pourtant, après une croissance ininterrompue dans les années 2000, l’agriculture bio a connu ces deux dernières années un ralentissement important de la consommation de ses produits. Le risque de déconversion des agriculteurs bio inquiète et l’accès aux terres pour les petits exploitants subit la pression des plus grosses exploitations conventionnelles.
