Concerning lack of progress regarding diabetes care in LUH

Little to no progress has been made on the ongoing situation regarding diabetes care in Letterkenny University Hospital.Currently, 387 people are currently awaiting a review appointment, with 112 of those waiting for as long as two years.It's understood that the delays are down to a lack of staffing and resources for the diabetes unit at Letterkenny University Hospital.Paul Gillespie, Chair of the Donegal branch of Diabetes Ireland, says that nobody is taking responsibility for the problem.
