Your morning Connecticut weather update Multiple coastal flood alerts are in effect this Saturday for Connecticut's shoreline communities, with up to one foot of inundation possible in vulnerable waterfront areas. The combination of astronomical tides and onshore winds creates hazardous conditions along Long Island Sound through the weekend. This morning starts mild with temperatures already in the low 50s, climbing to 59 degrees by 11 A.M.
