Contentment | Faithful
from Mount Pleasant Christian Church · host Mount Pleasant Christian Church
1 Corinthians 4:2 says, Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. (NIV) With this verse, the apostle Paul teaches us that the primary characteristic of a steward (someone who has been given a trust) is faithfulness. That means faithfulness must be our goal with every gift, every opportunity, and every resource God has given us, including money. During the month of November, we’ll discover, from God’s perspective, what being faithful with whatever amount of money He has entrusted to you looks like by focusing on four words: Ownership, Management, Contentment, and Generosity. This week we take a deeper look into contentment.
