Wer sich in Korea mit dem Corona-Virus infiziert, sollte besser Koreanisch können (oder sich mit Übersetzungsprogrammen auskennen). Zwar gibt es zweieinhalb Jahre nach Beginn der Pandemie alle möglichen Informationen online und auch auf Englisch (und Chinesisch), doch sind diese zum Teil veraltet und informieren schlicht falsch. So erklärt die Coronavirus-Webseite des Gesundheitsministeriums (http://ncov.mohw.go.kr/en), dass man alle sieben Tage einen PCR-Text machen muss, um aus der Quarantäne entlassen zu werden, und bei positiven Resultaten später zwei negative PCR-Testergebnisse innerhalb von 24 Stunden vorlegen muss. Dabei hat sich das längst geändert, man wird automatisch nach sieben Tagen aus der Quarantäne entlassen, und es wird sogar geraten, sich 45 Tage lang nicht testen zu lassen, da wahrscheinlich falsch-positive Ergebnisse erzielt werden. Diese und weitere aktuellen Informationen bekommt man nur per SMS und/ oder Kakaotalk-Message, wenn man positiv getestet wurde. Und nur auf Koreanisch.
