He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’ “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.””‭INTRODUCTION: Like the Good Samaritan, we must all find time to kind. The Man...A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. -Luke 10:30For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.-Romans 3:23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23Who is the man in the story?The Religious...“A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.”-‭‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭31‬-‭32‬ ‭NIV‬‬Without Jesus, all religious activity is powerless to change our lives and to help others! The Good Samaritan...Who is the Good Samaritan in the story? He came to where the man was.He took compassion on the man.He oil and wine on his wounds and bandage them. He picked him up.He took him to a safe place to heal.He paid for it all. CONCLUSION: Our Savior Jesus is the GOOD SAMARITAN and like Him we are called to extend kindness to those we meet.  ★ Support this podcast ★
