About Daniel G Wilson Daniel G Wilson is a Development Manager working in the Eastern Residential team at Hill, where he specialises in securing consent for sustainable developments that leave a positive lasting impact on communities.Between 2016 and 2020 Dan served on the RTPI West Midlands Young Planner s Committee and was Chair in 2020. He was a Planning Aid England Volunteer, member of the RTPI West Midlands Regional Activities Committee and won the prestigious RTPI West Midlands Young Planner of the Year award in 2020. In 2021 Dan was highly commended in the National RTPI Young Planner of the Year Award.After completing a MSc at Cardiff University in 2013, Dan started his career as a Planning Officer in Local Government. He then moved to the private sector and worked as Planning Consultant for several years before being poached client side, where he was a Planning Manager at McCarthy and Stone. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Dan relocated to London to be closer to family and joined Hill. Dan is thrilled to be part of team Hill and is convinced that Hill’s values and ethos align with his career ambitions and objectives.
