Creative Exercise: Directing Actors Using Generic Dialogue

In order to be a great director, you need to be able to work with actors. The problem I see with most directors starting off is that they do give actors line readings. Don't do that. I present you a creative exercise that will get you past the idea of having actors "say their lines correctly" and instead really deliver a performance.
