::Masamune from United States:: Biography: Masamune began his endeavors DJ’ing and Producing circa 2006-07. Today, he brandishes a uniquely evolved sound. One could say he is a paradox. As a child he was exposed to classical music with a seasoned composer & several instrumentalists throughout his family. Then in his teen years began to form a love of Symphonic Black Metal, Underground Hip Hop, Punk, Breakcore, German Hard Trance, Hardcore Industrial, Big Beat, & Drum n Bass; all of which was ultimately implemented into his production & DJ styles in one way or another. Masamune began DJ’ing several small clubs in various cities across the U.S., saw his first few official releases on various labels in 2010 then went on to have several tracks released on Certified Bass Records, Mindocracy, and Hungarian based Battle Audio Records to name a few. His production style punishes listeners with an unrelenting dose of ominous orchestral melodies amongst a palette of hard kicks, bass and breaks. Also known for his collaborations with Exodite, Masamune shows no signs of slowing down, only more punishment awaits for ears and live audiences.
