Crowning AI-chievement: robot artist creates portrait of King Charles

Our favourite AI humanoid robot, Ai-Da, is once again making waves in the art world—this time with a portrait of the UK monarch King Charles III. The painting, entitled Algorithm King, was revealed this week at the UK Mission in Geneva as part of the 2025 “AI for Good Summit” hosted by the UN.“Presenting my portrait of His Majesty King Charles III is not just a creative act, it’s a statement about the evolving role of AI in our society, and to reflect on how artificial intelligence is shaping the cultural landscape,” Ai-Da says (in a robotic statement).
