(S4, E2) Football is back in the MWC! The Mountain West Conference announced last Thursday that the conference will return for football on October 24 for an 8-game conference schedule. The emergence of rapid testing and the partnership with Quest Diagnostics was the game-changer for the conference. We will do our best to unpack what the announcement means with the Director of Athletics at Colorado State Joe Parker. Among other things, we’ll talk safety protocols, scheduling and prohibiting fan attendance at home games. Finally, we go deep into the history of CSU football with historian John Hirn. We discuss some of the best players (pre-1980) who helped shape CSU football.
