CWM - Ben Clark & Nathan Lott

from Chasing What Matters · host Glenn Robinson & Jacob Robinson

Ben Clark and Nathan Lott are owners of B-Unlimited, a collegiate licensed apparel company based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. When Ben bought B-Unlimited in 2006, it was a small operation with a staff of two employees. During the economic crisis of 2009, the company lost nearly all of their clients, and under Ben’s leadership, the company made a strategic pivot and prioritized offering unmatched customer service combined with incredible custom art on the highest quality product. From that point forward, B-Unlimited has continued to grow, and in less than five years, the company’s net worth escalated from $2 to $10 million. And now reaching goals of $20 million. B-Unlimited is one of seven businesses in the state to be recognized by Inc 5000 as one of the fastest growing private companies in the nation and has made that list for four consecutive years. B-Unlimited was also recognized by the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce as the Big Business of the Year in 2019. Ben has not just built a successful business, however; he has also curated a unique company culture that has led to B-Unlimited being recognized by Inc Magazine as one of the Top Places to Work in 2018 & 2019. This national designation was assessed by multiple factors, including low turnover rates and high employee satisfaction. Guiding all of those factors is an environment of care and commitment that is reflected in the company’s ethos: Be Unique. Be Yourself. B-Unlimited. Nathan started JCG Apparel in 2004 in Oxford, MS and had a similar path to success in the collegiate market. In 2020 B-Unlimited acquired JCG Apparel and now the operation includes 6 retail stores around the southeast. NEWMORROW SESSIONS - A PodCast Series on the Future of Hospitality Mario C. Bauer, Florian Schneider, Axel Weber & Dr. Tillman Bardt The Newmorrow PodCast is more than a podcast — it's a platform for open dialog on the future of our business, a platform for those building what doesn’t exist yet. Here, we share and embrace our passion for the hospitality industry, but we won’t romanticize the journey. We ask the tough questions, confront uncomfortable truths, and prepare for a future that resists easy answers. We believe that the tougher and wilder times become, the more openly, honestly and humanely people need to talk to each other and act together. We believe, openness, togetherness, and truthfulness should also be cornerstones of a professional community to develop our utopian idea of „open source“. This is a space where visionaries don’t just imagine the future — they wrestle with the paradoxes that shape it: success vs. happiness, data vs. instinct, stability vs. reinvention. Join leaders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers as they share not what made them — but what’s actively shaping them, now and next. So tune in
