Janice Walker joined Advocate Health in 2024 as Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer – Southeast Region of Advocate Health. She is responsible for providing strategic leadership for all nursing and other designated patient care functions and services for Atrium Health, which comprises the entirety of Advocate Health’s Southeast Region. Janice leads more than 18,000 nurses at Atrium Health’s 40 hospitals and hundreds of care locations throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama.She has 25 years of experience in health care with progressive leadership roles as a Chief Nursing Officer and a Chief Operating Officer in for-profit and not-for-profit health care entities. Her previous experience includes more than 13 years at Baylor Scott & White Health (BSW), and that is where I first met Janice.
