After spending several years teaching special education in the public school system, Taylor started to see the reality of life after high school for her students. Learning that up to 80% of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are unemployed nationwide, The BEE Community was founded on the principle that everyone, regardless of ability or capacity, is made with inherent worth and the divine design to work and contribute. BEE provides meaningful work and a place of belonging for people of all abilities.
