Today is Monday, April 2, 2018. Hi, my name is Adam Burton, and you are listening to The Daily Devo, a short devotional designed to help you apply God's Word to your life. The content comes from the Gospel Project. Take a few moments and read 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, verses 1 through 28.
People always wondered how basketball legend Larry Bird made such complex plays look so simple. His answer was also simple. He never got over the fundamentals. Bird's meticulous practice of the fundamentals were the simple stuff a basketball showed up in the way he played in games.
Similarly, Paul states that the Gospel is of first importance. It is central to our faith. The Gospel is the fundamentals of our faith, the simple stuff we need to dwell on each day. Think about this.
According to 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, verses 3 through 5, what basic content of the Gospel do we need to remember daily? How does remembering the power of the Gospel give you hope and God's transforming work in your life? If you are in need of prayer, please get in touch with me. I would love to pray for you.
