There are examples from Scripture that show us how quickly we can overlook the presence of God in our everyday lives. Examples would be the Israelites complaining for food after the Exodus, or maybe even Peter wondering if Jesus would abandon him after his public denial of knowing Christ. But Jesus came to earth and put on flesh so that we would never be without his presence. In fact, he sent the Holy Spirit to live within us to ensure we would never be alone.
Think about this. If we truly believe Jesus' presence is with us through his indwelling spirit, how should that affect the way we see our circumstances?
