Today is Friday, August 16, 2019, and here is your daily devote. Here is this week's Christ connection. Wisdom is a skill of living faithfully in God's world, but all of us have sinned. Whoseome shows us how to live, but cannot save us.
For this reason, Jesus became God-given wisdom for us, so that through His death and resurrection, which appear foolish to the world, we might be saved according to the wise plan of God. Have you given your light to Jesus? If not, please do so today. It is the greatest decision you could ever make.
Jesus says that all who come to me, I will not turn away. You can embrace the rescue of God by simply admitting your need to God, asking Him to forgive you. Trusting in Jesus alone to rescue you, and following Jesus Christ, the King of your life, in faith from this day forward.
