Today is Friday, September 20, 2019, and here is your Daily Devo. Here is this week's Christ Connection. When Elisha succeeded the prophet Elijah, he asked for the same spirit that was in Elijah to be given to him. God granted Elisha's request and revealed his presence through a miracle.
Years later, when Jesus prepared his followers to begin their ministry, he instructed them to wait for the Holy Spirit who came upon them and confirmed his presence in miraculous ways. Have you given your life to Jesus? If not, please do so today. It is the greatest decision you could ever make.
Jesus says that all who come to me, I will not turn away. You can embrace the rescue of God by simply admitting your need to God, asking him to forgive you, trusting in Jesus alone to rescue you and following Jesus Christ, the king of your life in faith from this day forward.
