Today is Wednesday, September 25, 2019 and here is your Daily Devo. It is clear from this story that God answers prayer. He hears the cries of His saints, and He acts according to His plans and our good. It is because of this reality in the power of prayer that we should maintain an active prayer life. God uses prayer not only to affect change in the world around us, but also as a means to affect change in our own hearts and lives as our will becomes more conformed to His will and purposes. If Jesus, being fully God, relied on the power of prayer in His life and ministry, how much more so do we need to be reliant upon prayer in our daily dependence upon God?  Think about this: What can we learn about the importance of prayer from this account? Whom can you pray for this week for eyes to be opened to see the beauty of Christ?  Thank you for listening to the Daily Devo. Please send me a comment, like, or share the Daily Devo. It helps others to get the Daily Devo. Also, please connect with us on Facebook at Central Baptist Church - Maysville, KY. This way you can stay up to date on everything going on at Central Baptist.
