When we are called to speak the word of God, we might feel inadequate, afraid, or vulnerable, but the bowing of the mighty city of Nineveh reminds us that God's word is living, active, and able to cut through to the soul and spirit of mankind. We can speak the word of God confidently, not because we are gifted speakers, but because of the inherent power present in the gospel message of Jesus Christ. Think about this, who do you know that God wants to reach?
