Today is Wednesday, December 18, 2019 and here is your Daily Devo. Even though it would have been a good time for Daniel to take a month off from being faithful to God, he persevered. From a worldly standpoint, Daniel’s faithfulness wasn’t personally convenient; however, obedience to and love for God was deeply ingrained in Daniel. He did not push his spiritual disciplines into the shadows of privacy. He had honored God in this manner the entire time he was in Babylon, and he would not stop now—not for a month, not even for a moment. Think about this: What are some spiritual disciplines you have intentionally tried to hide from others out of fear of what they might think or say?
