From a worldly standpoint, Daniel’s faithfulness wasn’t personally convenient; however, obedience to and love for God was deeply ingrained in Daniel. He did not push his spiritual disciplines into the shadows of privacy. He had honored God in this manner the entire time he was in Babylon, and he would not stop now—not for a month, not even for a moment.
