Today is Wednesday, September 1, 2021, and here is your daily devo. Hi, I'm Adam Burton, the pastor at Central Bath District in Maisville, Kentucky. We're in the first week of our new series of the daily devo where we will look at an historical event from that day, but more importantly, if you adjourn with me, we will memorize a verse of scripture each week. Today, we celebrate letter writing day.
With modern technology, letter writing has become a thing of the past, but it is still an essential form of communication. I mean, how many of us keep greeting cards or handwritten letters? Now, how often do you look back at an email? They're just not the same.
So write a handwritten note to someone today. Our Bible verse for this week is 2nd Corinthians 5-17. I will be using the English Standard Version of the Bible, but you can use any faithful Bible translation. The 2nd Corinthians 5-17.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come. 2nd Corinthians 5-17.
For today, if you need to, read the verse once, but then quote the verse without any mistakes five times in a row. If you mess up, I'll just start over again and keep going until you can say the verse five times without errors. Join me tomorrow for another episode of The Daily D. Vogue.
God bless.
