Today is Thursday, September 2, 2021, and here is your Daily Divo. Hi, I'm Adam Burden, the pastor at Central Bad Disturcher in May's Volkentucky. We are in our first week of our new series of the Daily Divo, where we will look at a historical event from that day. But more importantly, if you journey with me, we will memorize a first of scripture each week.
Today, we remember a VJ Day, a D&O, what it is. And after the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the official surrender ceremony of Japan was held on September 2nd, 1945, in being World War II. Estimates are that 60 to 80 million people died during World War II. So remember those who lost their lives during that dark period of history.
Our Bible verse for this week is 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17. I will be using the English standard version of the Bible, but you can use any faithful Bible translation. 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17. Therefore, anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation.
The Oldest, passed away. Behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17. For today, pull the verse without any mistakes five times in a row.
If you mess up, just start over again and keep going until you can say that verse five times without errors. Now, it should be getting easier, easier to recall the verse. Well, join me tomorrow for another episode of the Daily Depot. God bless.
