Today is Friday, September 3, 2021. And here is your daily divo. Hi, I'm Adam Burton, the pastor at Central Badger's Church in Maysville, Kentucky. We are in the first week of our new series of the Daily Diva, where we will look at an historical event from that day, but more importantly, if you journey with, we will memorize a verse of scripture each week.
Today, we recognize bring your meaners to work day. This day occurs on the first Friday of every September, the protocol school of Washington created this day to remind people of the importance of treating people with courtesy and respect in the workplace. We should always be respectful, but make a point to go above and beyond today. All our Bible verse for this week is the 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17.
I will be using the English standard version of the Bible, but you can use any faithful Bible translation. 2 Corinthians 5, 17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation. Be old as passed away and behold the new as calm.
2 Corinthians 5, 17. For today, I want you to not only quote our verse from memory, but meditate on the verse, asking what does it mean to me? Join me on Monday for another episode of the Daily Diva, God bless.
