Danaher will pay $180 per share in cash for Masimo, close to a 40% premium over the closing share price on Friday, according to a statement Tuesday. The transaction is expected to be completed in the second half of the year.- Norwegian Cruise (NCLH) shares rise 6.1% in premarket trading after the Wall Street Journal reported that activist investor Elliott Investment Management has built a more than 10% stake in the cruise-ship company.- Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) has agreed to temporarily reopen sale negotiations with rival Hollywood studio Paramount Skydance (PSKY), setting the stage for a potential second bidding war with Netflix. Warner Bros. negotiated a waiver with the streaming giant that will allow it to engage with Paramount for seven days about the terms of its most recent offer, according to a statement Tuesday.
