Dance Like A New Yorker

For over two centuries, New York City's social dance scene has given rise to trends that have been both popular and controversial, leading to a notorious law that regulated and banned dancing at many nightlife establishments. A new exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York looks at the history of the city's dance scene, and how the dance floor is often a place where different cultures collide and thrive.
