Since his last album in 2023, Hubwar has largely focused on running Noizion Record but the producer never stopped writing music, regularly circulating dubplates to DJs championing sound system culture. Already supported by J:Kenzo, the hypnotic and haunting “Temahani” stands out as the EP’s clear hook. But before this dancefloor-ready moment, Hubwar sets the tone with “Montagne Hallucinée,” a levitating opener that pulls listeners into the phantasmagorical universe unfolding across the EP. “Solitude,” driven by a broken beat and a weighty bassline, balances introspection and movement. The journey closes with “Danse Macabre,” an occult-tinged ritual where the listener dissolves into the sound.
