DATING IN THE ERA OF SOCIAL DISTANCING

from TalkItOver: The only dating show that begins in bed · host talkitover

It is probably the best time to validate cliche phrases like: 'Love knows no boundaries or distance'... or 'When two or more people are meant for each other, no distance is too far, no time is too long', and no virus outbreak can break them apart. While dating or looking for love in the era of social distancing, what new measures should we take? Can we look at a new unfortunate reality as an opportunity to be creative in finding new ways to maintain relationships, communicate on a deeper level, learn to talk it over and become more intimate without physical contact? Perhaps it's time to dust off the old book "Love in the time of cholera" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez or as we can now apply to call it "Love in the time of the coronavirus". We are not subject matter experts and not trying to find the right answers. We are just talking it over in our individual beds, as the Talk It Over team takes social distancing very seriously. Now let's pull back the sheets... Host & Producer: KI from Bedstuy; Podcast host and co-producer: Olin - ‘Big O - keeping you in the know’, Podcast guests: Briana Fuller aka ‘Bri with a Tea’, Nicole Willheimer, Robin Nestler, Leon Ferguson; Engineer & co-producer: Bumpy's Fun House; Co-producer: Anna Treyer-Simakova
