God says "your people, whom you brought out of Egypt." Moses says back: "Your people, whom You brought out." Six words apart—and between them, everything. Moses doesn't argue that Israel deserves mercy. He doesn't claim they are good. He pleads the covenant, the name, and the character of God. That is not the prayer of someone who knows about God.
