Day 132—Clean and Covered: Leviticus 11:1–12:8

"If she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons." That's the offering Mary and Joseph brought when they presented Jesus at the temple. The family through which the Lamb of God entered the world was so poor they could only bring the least the law allowed. He has been at the level of the poorest offering from the very beginning.
