Leviticus 26 describes escalating waves of judgment—and then, at the bottom of everything, turns. I will not reject them. I will not abhor them. I will not break my covenant with them. For I am Yahweh their God. The covenant doesn't hold because Israel kept it. It holds because He made it. And He does not unmake what He makes.
