Day 82 - Read 1 Corinthians 11-12

Paul wrote about customs to represent the relationships of man and woman, and their relationship to God. His example addressed the customs of head covering in the church. Paul concluded we should follow a conscience led by God, not by the customs of man. The Lord’s Supper was instituted by Jesus. Paul condemned the church for participating with poor motives and with impure hearts. There is one God and one Spirit who provides various spiritual gifts to believers for the building up of the body (the kingdom of God). All believers are important to the working of the body of Christ.
