Op 29 mei 2025 laat Anne-Marie van Hees via Facebook weten dat de reis op Aarde er voor haar bijna op zit. "Ik voel dat het moment nadert waarop ik steeds meer los mag laten. Mijn lichaam wordt moe, mij geest soms wat neveliger - en toch is er een diepe helderheid van binnen. Een weten dat alles klopt. Dat ik mijn werk heb mogen doen. En dat ik het nu over mag dragen".Een paar dagen na het bericht, zie ik haar nog tijdens een sessie. Ik kan het niet bevatten. Ze ziet er nog goed uit. Ik vroeg haar of het nog mogelijk was om haar te spreken. Je kunt nu naar dat gesprek - dat plaatsvond op 11 juni 2025 - luisteren. Een gesprek waarin Anne-Marie met veel liefde deelt wat ze nog wil delen. Over de manier waarop de complicaties na haar maagverkleining niet erkend zijn. En dat ze sowieso een uitdaging heeft gehad om "in haar lichaam te zijn". En ook geeft ze nog bijzondere inzichten over het leven. Het is allemaal eenvoudiger dan we vermoeden. Op 22 juni 2025 is Anne-Marie in de vroege ochtend overleden. Met Anne-Marie was afgesproken dat het interview pas na dit moment zou worden gepubliceerd, met goedkeuring van haar dochters.
