Roeselien Wekker is oprichter van Soul Stories Academy. In deze podcast vertelt ze haar eigen Soul Story. Roeselien is een veelzijdige, energieke ondernemer die veel heeft bereikt in de wereld van theater en televisie als danser, zanger en acteur. Ondanks ze op 13-jarige leeftijd bij de Ballet Academie werd “afgewezen op het eventueel ontwikkelen van een Afrikaans kontje”. Twintig jaar lang stond zij op het podium en voor de camera. Zo danste ze in veel populaire televisieprogramma’s en speelde ze in musicals zoals A Chorus Line, The Wiz en West Side Story. De jaren als artiest gaven weinig ruimte voor persoonlijke ontwikkeling. Uiteindelijk gaf haar lichaam haar op een gegeven moment aan dat het genoeg was geweest. Tijdens een voorstelling weigerde haar lijf letterlijk om het podium te pakken. Met de Nieuwe Aarde van Eckhart Tolle en The Artist's Way van Julia Cameron in haar koffer vertrok ze naar Curaçao om zich te herpakken. Uiteindelijk maakte ze in 2010 de overstap naar het bedrijfsleven en het ondernemerschap. Luister naar haar eigen soulstory en naar wat ze voor jou kan betekenen om jouw verhaal scherp te krijgen.
