We will also read a portion of John Chapter 10 in relation to our daily reading.Today we will read more about the beautiful description of heaven. We will read about the river of living water and the trees of life. We will read that these things are free and available for those who choose the free gift of eternal life in Jesus.  In John Chapter 10 we read that Jesus came not only to give us life, but ABUNDANT life and He is the gate that we need to enter that life by, if we want to accept His free gift and choose life. In our discussion for daily application we will talk about free will and the right to choose. God has always given us free will. It is up to us to make the choice between life and death. For those who choose to accept the free gift of salvation and choose life, Jesus promises that we will receive it abundantly! Every day we make choices to follow Jesus or ourselves. Those choices we make have lasting consequences, either for death or for life. Those who make the choice to serve themselves and do whatever they want will not have their names written in Jesus' Book of Life, so they will not get to be part of the abundant life that Jesus has for them.
