My family has had a Christmas tree business in the driveway next to my house for a half a century. This year is the 50th year it has been in a little corner of the Small Wonder State. It approaches like a storm in November and hits every year with a December wind. I am going to be returning this year for what my father is claiming to be "the final year" and "bell lap" for him. Moving back in with my parents for 7 weeks is depressing to think about but my mom has a baby grand so it will be my savior as the December wind hits my face at 7 A.M every morning. In two days I return home to begin the bell lap and this is the song that was in my head today when I went for a run. I recorded this as soon as I got to my house. Soaked from my run and almost feeling the bone chilling cold of the December wind.
